The prime organizers of the Abu Dhabi T10 and US-based SAMP Army, the T Ten Global Sports has announced the first season of the US Masters T10 League in Dallas, Texas.
This marquee T10 tournament will involve several renowned retired players from international cricket along with emerging players. The league will have six teams competing in the new fastest cricket format.
This move from the T Ten Sports will help cricket as a sport to prosper more and become more popular in the American region.
The announcement ceremony was graced by several retired cricketers such as Misbah-ul-Haq, Corey Anderson, and Shivnarine Chanderpaul, along with many USA national and domestic players.
On the occasion of announcing the league, Ritesh Patel, the Owner of SAMP Army Cricket Franchise, said, “Excited to bring this fast explosive cricket format to the USA. Players participating in this tournament have huge following all over the globe and this is a great opportunity for American fans to witness this for the first time on American soil.”
Commenting about this new tournament, Misbah-ul-Haq, the former Pakistan Captain said, “It’s a great honour to be a part of this format in the US, especially at this age. Everyone wants the older players to play again and so US Masters T10 will be a success.
Spencer Dinwiddie, the NBA Superstar, said, “I am super excited to be a part of the US Masters T10 League and working alongside Shaji Ul Mulk and Ritesh Patel that are introducing this growing international sport of Cricket to America.”
